Saint Stanislaus Band
- 1857 - School's first piano is purchased
- 1875 - Br. M. Germain begins serving as band director to a 16-member band; leads until 1888
- 1888 - Professor Hemmersbach becomes the first lay teacher at SSC, leading 25 band members

- 1906 - Hemmersbach’s brother Carl takes over until 1917
- 1917 - Carl’s brother Joseph took over until 1923
- 1923 - Br. Oliver begins serving as band director
- 1924 - Band played at a basketball game
- 1930 - For two years, Prof. J. A. Smith leads the band
- 1932 - Br. Romuald is asked by Br. Williams (then SSC President) to take over; he initially has trouble
recruiting members, but gradually has enough to begin playing at football games

- 1935 - The band is led by Drum Major Van Platter; the band also gets sweaters for the first time
- 1936 - The band wins first place at a contest in Jackson, plays at the Knights of Columbus Initiation in
Gulfport, and at the 82nd Annual Commencement. Parents help raise money for new band uniforms. - 1947 - Band plays through a storm in an attempt to calm down the students
- 1950 - Band gets promoted from “CC” to "B" class due to how many students attend the school
- 1951- The band travels to the All State Band contest and is required to play “First Swedish Rhapsody” by Erik
Leidzen\ - 1956 - The 1956 yearbook notes that since 1937, the band has ‘amassed a total of 16 plaques for first-place
ratings and hundreds of medals by individual members.'

- 1960 - Mr. PJ Paoli is named the new band director
- 1966 - Under the direction of Mr. Clement Toca, the band travels to Oklahoma for a nation-wide contest
- 1972 - The first OLA students join the band
- 1993 - Parents form a band booster club
- 2007 - The new Bro. Romuald, S.C. Instrumental and Voice Music Building (Band Hall) is dedicated
